Renew Your “No Trespass” Forms - It’s time to renew your no trespassing forms! This form allows property owners to authorize the Los Angeles Police Department to enforce trespassing laws under L.A.M.C. Section 41.24 without you needing to be on site. By submitting it, you grant LAPD the authority to remove and/or arrest unauthorized individuals on your property and enforce a 6-month no-return order for violations. Please note that the form must be renewed every 12 months to remain valid for enforcement and arrest. Please download the form here and then submit it here, which will be forwarded to LAPD for filing. Alternatively, you may submit a completed form in person to the nearest police station. Thanks for helping our office and LAPD keep you safe.

Prepare for Brush Clearance Season - A message from LAFD: “Brush clearance season is here, and it’s an important part of keeping our community safe—especially in high fire risk areas like the Palisades. Starting May 1, 2026, all properties in the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone will be inspected, regardless of whether they were impacted by the recent fire. Some fire-affected properties may qualify for an exemption from the initial $31 inspection fee, but please note that all properties will still be inspected for compliance.

If a property does not meet brush clearance requirements, the owner will receive a Notice of Non-Compliance with details on what needs to be fixed and a deadline to complete the work. Properties that are not exempt and fail the first inspection will be charged the $31 fee, and if issues are not corrected by the second inspection, an additional $758 non-compliance fee may be applied. Taking care of brush clearance early not only helps you avoid penalties, but more importantly, it plays a critical role in protecting your home, your neighbors, and our entire community.” View the 2026 Mailer and instructions here!

Take the Long Term Recovery Plan Survey - “The City of Los Angeles is currently developing a Long-Term Recovery Plan (LTRP) for Pacific Palisades that will guide recovery strategies, projects, and implementation in the short (1-2 years), medium (2-5 years), and long-term (5+ years). FEMA and CalOES recommend that communities create a Long-Term Recovery Plan following a disaster to guide decision-making, incorporate community feedback, and better position the community for future funding opportunities. As part of this effort, the City would like to hear from previous and existing Pacific Palisades residents, business owners, and employees. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes and consists of multiple choice and open-ended questions.” Click here to take the survey - thanks for your help!

Celebrating Westside Women in Public Service -  I was honored to join my friends Lana Negrete and Veronica Pugin for a panel hosted by Michelle Edgar on the importance of cross-city collaboration in recovery efforts. We talked about the ongoing rebuilding of Pacific Palisades, emphasizing the connection between thriving businesses and the return of residents. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Hunting for Eggs with the YMCA - Last weekend’s Palisades-Malibu YMCA Egg Hunt and Festival was a spectacular day and another beautiful example of how the community comes together to celebrate families, connection, and joy in Pacific Palisades. Thank you to all of our community members who joined us and the Palisades-Malibu YMCA for another lovely event.

Participate in the Palisades Recovery - “The Pacific Palisades recovery will be defined not just by what government agencies plan, but by how well our community understands, engages with, and advocates within those plans. The Advisory Task Forces (ATFs) exist to build that capacity — bringing together informed, committed residents who can speak credibly on behalf of the Palisades across every dimension of long-term recovery. Any community member is welcome to express interest in joining an Advisory Task Force by completing the Volunteer Interest Form.” Learn more at pali411.com!

Get Support from PRC A message from the Palisades Recovery Coalition: “The Palisades Recovery Coalition remains committed to serving as a trusted resource hub for the community. From ongoing lead soil testing drop-off to distributing trespass authorization forms, PRC continues to provide essential services that support residents. With monthly county office hours and expanded resources, PRC is dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of Pacific Palisades.”

The LA County Department of Public Health is offering free blood lead testing for anyone concerned about exposure to lead from wildfires. Call 1-800-LA-4-LEAD / 1-800-524-5323 for more information.
