Pacific Palisades Community Care Day - LA Care and the Office of the Mayor of Los Angeles are inviting the Pacific Palisades community to a Wellness, Support, and Renewal Fair focused on connection and recovery. The event is taking place at Palisades Lutheran Church today from 12–4 PM. Community members can access resources, support services, and opportunities to reconnect. Community Renewal Celebration - The Pacific Palisades came together on Sunday, March 22 for an afternoon of music, food, art, and connection at the Renewal Celebration, featuring live performances, local food trucks, family activities, and a special lantern ceremony at sunset. Scout Troop 223 community cleanup project - Over the weekend of March 14-15, Scout Troop 223 carried out a commendable public service project in Santa Monica Canyon under the leadership of Eagle Scout candidate Lauren Whiteley. Thirteen young women dedicated their time and effort to addressing key areas of concern, including clearing debris, maintaining public spaces, and enhancing neighborhood infrastructure. Their work was completed with diligence and professionalism, despite challenging conditions. With the support of local residents and families, this initiative stands as a strong example of civic responsibility and community collaboration. The Palisades Recovery Coalition partnered with the LA County Assessor’s Office - The Palisades Recovery Coalition partnered with the LA County Assessor’s Office to bring in-person assistance directly to the community at PRC Headquarters. Beginning April 6, 2026, residents can meet with appraisers every first Monday of the month from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This resource provides an opportunity to get support, ask questions, and navigate property-related concerns with expert guidance. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is necessary. PaliLTRG new office ribbon cutting and Resource Fair - The Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) USA West, Rotary District 5280, and Pali LTRG will host a day of recovery, connection, and community support in Pacific Palisades. Residents will have the opportunity to access vital resources, wellness services, and connect with local agencies as rebuilding efforts continue. The event will also feature a special Pali Hub ribbon cutting, marking another step forward in the community’s recovery journey.
The Wizard of Oz - St. Matthew’s School brought the spirit to life through its Middle School Spring Musical, The Wizard of Oz. The school celebrated a meaningful milestone as middle school students returned to campus for the first time since the evacuation, marking a joyful step forward for the community. Performed by talented 5th through 8th graders, the production reflected the resilience, creativity, and unity of Pacific Palisades. The performances on March 25 and 26 welcomed families, neighbors, and supporters for an evening of connection and celebration. It was a powerful reminder of the role the school continues to play in the community’s recovery and bright future
