Share Your Thoughts On the AECOM Reports - Join us for a Virtual Town Hall for Pacific Palisades with Councilwoman Traci Park on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 5:30–6:30 PM. We’ll be discussing the AECOM reports and gathering community feedback. RSVP here for the Zoom link! 

Road Closure & No Parking Request -  On Friday, the Bureau of Engineering started a debris removal project at 17570 Posetano Road in response to a small landslide. Temporary road closures will be in effect in the immediate area while crews complete their work. Heavy equipment and construction machinery will be staged on Posetano Road throughout the week. Residents should anticipate intermittent temporary closures as crews complete their work. We sincerely thank the community for their continued patience and cooperation, particularly for removing vehicles from the street to ensure full access for construction crews and to allow the project to move forward safely and efficiently.

Apply to the LA County Rent Relief Program - The Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) has launched the Emergency Rent Relief Program to provide financial assistance to qualifying property owners and tenants impacted by recent emergencies. Hear from LASAN at the PRC - The Palisades Recovery Coalition (PRC) continues its City Department Speaker Series with a special visit from Los Angeles Sanitation. This informative session provides an opportunity to hear directly from Los Angeles Sanitation representatives, learn about services and updates impacting the community, and ask questions. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP using the QR code. Community members are invited to attend on Monday, March 9 at 11:00 AM at PRC HQ, 15233 La Cruz Drive. 

Learn How to Safeguard Your Rebuild - Join PaliLTRG on Sunday March 8 from 2-4 PM at the American Legion Palisades Post 283 for the first workshop in a three-part series designed to empower survivors with the construction knowledge and trusted resources needed to rebuild safely and confidently. This engaging afternoon conversation and expert panel is presented in partnership with the American Red Cross, the California Community Foundation, and United Policyholders. Attendees will hear directly from local experts and recovery leaders including: Reza Akef, PPCC Infrastructure Chair; Annie Barbour, Disaster Recovery Specialist, United Policyholders; and Kambiz Kamdar, Pali Builds and Local Builder.  Learn more about the event and reserve your spot here.

Sign Up for Classes at Rustic Canyon Rec - Registration begins on Monday, March 9 for Spring classes for adults at Rustic Canyon Recreation Center. Offerings include dancing, ceramics, fitness, and more! Register at reg.laparks.org beginning at 9:00 AM. 

Share Your Palisades History - Are you part of a multigenerational Palisades family? Join the PRC’s Legacy Project! In partnership with the Trauma Resource Institute, this initiative creates space to honor stories, strengthen connections, and safeguard the heritage of Pacific Palisades for future generations. The gathering will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM at PRC HQ, 15233 La Cruz Drive. Please RSVP here to attend. 

Paint and Process with PRC - Join the Palisades Recovery Coalition on March 14 from 1–3 PM at PRC HQ, 15233 La Cruz Drive for Art for Healing, led by Frances Nedjat-Haiem. This time, participants will paint the wildflowers returning to the bluffs. All skill levels are welcome! RSVP here to save your spot. 

LACC Beautification Team Update - Last week, the Los Angeles Conservation Corps (LACC) cleared the surrounding area along La Cruz Drive. This week, their team will move to assist with clearing and cleanup at Marquez Charter Elementary School. Their scope of work includes clearing public rights-of-way, and they will continue these efforts through the spring.

CRCD Beautification Team Update - This past week, our CRCD Beautification Team was out in Pacific Palisades assisting with cleanup, beautification, and graffiti removal throughout the community. The team cleared an alleyway in the Muskingum Avenue area and completed cleanup along the bridge at PCH and Castellammare. We will continue to utilize all available resources to address additional areas throughout Pacific Palisades and support the ongoing recovery and revitalization efforts.

Thanks for a Great Recovery Expo  - Thank you to the Malibu Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce and all who attended for a great Recovery Expo this past weekend. CD 11 staff were happy to join this community event which brought together local leaders, businesses, and recovery experts to share valuable resources, insights, and support for the ongoing recovery efforts.
