My office will remain in close coordination with the County and keep residents updated. For questions, contact LA County Public Works at (800) 675-HELP (4357).

Santa Ynez Reservoir Floating Cover Replacement Progress: A message from our partners at LADWP - “Starting Thursday, February 19, LADWP will begin draining the reservoir—a process that will take about a month. During this time, residents may notice increased water flow in the creek adjacent to the reservoir. Once drained, construction crews will remove the existing cover and begin installation of the new cover. Construction is expected to be completed, and the reservoir back in service, by fall 2026. There will be no interruption of water service during the project. LADWP will continue supplying water to the Pacific Palisades through the Westgate Main Water Pipeline while the reservoir is offline. In the event of an emergency, LADWP is prepared to maintain a level of water service through added contingencies including tank connections, hose deployments, and emergency support measures.” For more information, check out the project page here
