11th Annual Turkey Trot - The 11th Annual Palisades Turkey Trot 5K & 10K once again brought our community together for a fun and festive Thanksgiving week tradition on November 27th. The race kicked off from the Palisades Village Green, with festivities beginning at 7:30 AM and both races starting promptly at 8:15 AM. Families, walkers, strollers, and even dogs joined in, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere along the course. Runners enjoyed medals, bananas, and water at the finish line, supported by on-site medical staff. A special thank you to Venice Paparazzi for capturing the joy of the day, and to organizer David O’Connell for his hard work and dedication in making this event a success!

Via De La Paz and Sunset Boulevard Water Regulator Station Replacement Project - The Via De La Paz and Sunset Boulevard Water Regulator Station Replacement Project is part of LADWP’s ongoing effort to upgrade critical water infrastructure across Los Angeles. Built in 1952, the existing station is being modernized with new steel pipes and valves to improve long-term reliability for Pacific Palisades customers. This site is the third regulator station in the Palisades to undergo rehabilitation. Construction will take place inside the existing underground vault, with no expected water service outages. One overnight work shift will be required to install a temporary bypass line. For public safety, Via De La Paz from Sunset Boulevard to the first alley north will be fully closed for the duration of the project, with detours and temporary no-parking zones in effect. Work is scheduled from early December 2025 through early May 2025.
