Thanks to all for the Palisades Fire One Year Remembrance Events – We extend our sincere appreciation to the many organizations, faith communities, schools, and volunteers who organized and hosted meaningful events in the Palisades on January 7th. We are especially grateful to Calvary Christian School for its commemoration program for students and families; the Pacific Palisades Long Term Recovery Group (LTRG) for its continued leadership and remembrance efforts; Corpus Christi School and Father Kidney for hosting a prayer service; the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine for opening its sacred space for reflection; and St. Matthew’s Church for an evening of prayers and music. We’d also like to sincerely thank The Palisades Symphony for its participation in the Pali LTRG event. These events, along with many others, reflected the compassion, resilience, and unity of the Palisades community, and helped ensure the day was observed with dignity, care, and purpose.

PPCC-NORC Community Survey - Report on Results – The Pacific Palisades Community Council released a new, independent survey conducted with the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago that captures where Palisadians stands one year after the fire. The findings underscore both the resilience of this community and the very real frustration many families continue to face. This report quantifies the experience of residents and gives voice to what they have been saying all along: recovery is not just about clearing debris, but about restoring safety, trust, and a clear path home.
