Posetano Road Repair - The Posetano Road Emergency Road Repair Project is scheduled to begin next week. We have been working closely with the Bureau of Engineering to expedite this critical repair and are excited to begin ahead of the previously anticipated December start date. Residents in the immediate area have already received notices about the upcoming construction but if you have any further questions please reach out to our office.

Porto Marina Road Closure - City crews will be closing a small section of Porto Marina Way immediately west of the Lecco Lane intersection out of an abundance of caution after an analysis of the fire related damage to the retaining wall below that section of the road. The Bureau of Engineering is working to secure grant funding for the repairs and we will provide updates as they become available.

LADWP Water Regulator Station Replacement Project - In mid-November LADWP will begin work to upgrade the existing water pressure regulator station at Via De La Paz and Sunset Boulevard.  Construction is expected to continue through April 2026, weather permitting, with work scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and occasional Saturday work to speed completion. Water service will remain uninterrupted except for a brief shutdown during the installation of a bypass connection, for which residents will receive advance notice. For safety and workspace needs, Via De La Paz between Sunset Boulevard and the nearby alleyway will be completely closed to traffic throughout the project. Despite the closures, residents and businesses will retain driveway access, and emergency and delivery services will continue without interruption.

Ongoing Beautification Work - Our LACC crews are continuing their work to clean up the sidewalks, parkways, gutters, and medians along Sunset Boulevard. If you see them out in the community, say hi! Please let our teams know if there are locations around the Palisades that need cleaning or extra attention.

Music in the Park - Join your friends and neighbors at Palisades Rec Center on Sunday November 16th from 3-4 PM for a free outdoor concert featuring musicians from the Pacific Palisades. Free street parking is available but bring your own blankets or chairs and refreshments. More information and the registration link can be found here

Resilient Rebuilding Community Celebration - Resilient Palisades is hosting a family-friendly day of programming centered around sustainable and fire safe rebuilding on Saturday November 15th at Paul Revere Middle School. Highlights include home hardening and electrification demos, mini-talks and panels in the afternoon, food from The Vegan Joint, and face painting and other activities for kids. Reserve a spot and learn more here

Temescal Canyon Mural Cleanup - The community is invited to participate in a Mural Bubblebath at the Temescal Canyon Mural on November 15th and 16th. This event marks the first phase of restoring the beloved 1983 mural, a 552-foot artwork that has been part of the Pacific Palisades community for over forty years. The cleaning will be led by MuralColors, with all conservation and cleaning supplies provided. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to join and help refresh this local landmark in preparation for its full restoration. Sign up for a volunteer shift here!
