Every year, millions of printer cartridges are discarded in landfills, contributing to growing environmental concerns and posing risks to public health. In response, the City of Los Angeles (City) is considering a proposed ban on the sale of single-use printer cartridges within the City boundary.

The City is hosting a 30-minute virtual public meeting to engage consumers, businesses, and all interested parties on the proposed ban of single-use printer cartridges. This meeting will serve as a platform for discussion, where attendees can voice their opinions, ask questions, and learn more about the potential ban.

LA Sanitation and Environment (LASAN) will present an overview of the proposed ban during the first 10 minutes of the meeting. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback. Please note, no decisions will be made at this meeting - it is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts and help shape LASAN’s recommendation on the proposed ban to the Los Angeles City Council.

This is an important opportunity for residents and stakeholders to contribute their feedback on the proposed ban. Whether you're a consumer, business owner, or just interested in the topic, we encourage your participation.
